It starts with a 4, a good fun adventure but gets REALLY GOOD after Luffy recruits the crew, I refuse to rate this manga by manga because it will take forever but the overall experience is 5+ stars, I can't even put into words how much I love with manga, been a fan since middle school and will continue to read it weekly til it ends.

For those who don't want to start this series because it's so long and intimidating, try watching the anime until the halfway point and then switch over to the manga. It's one hell of an adventure and I've never met anyone who really tried it (finish up until the new world) that doesn't love it.

Luffy's goofiness is so infectious. Somebody, somewhere, once described him as "confronts the horrors by being such a silly and goofy guy that his presence fundamentally changes the genre," and the way this could not be any more true. I literally love this silly story so much

The first Manga I've read and it was brilliant, love the pirate story and characters and the art was fantastic too. I'd recommend this to anyone else who hasn't read any Manga as a very good introduction!
