I've read this volume so, so many times as a kid. I loved this series as a kid, never went beyond like volume 50-something, but this series is pretty much infinite so I can get behind past-me not continuing the series. Anyway, this a a great start to what I know as a great series. There's a nice balance between the mood of the series being silly/funny and serious, in my opinion.
