I'm familiar with One Piece, but only a few episodes of the anime. This was 'okay', but knowing there's 109 volumes of this and it's Still Going On has me questioning if I want to actually finish it. I like when a story has a beginning/middle/end, not drawn out for as long as it can because money and 'hey, why not?'.

I think this was my first manga ever. I have been interested in starting One Piece, either anime or mange for some time. I think the illustrations, story, and characters were top notch. However, I don't think that I will continuing with the manga. I thought that the anime was pretty spot on with the adaptation.

Still give a 5 out of 5 for any one looking to start One Piece.
