This is an erotic historical novel involving a cursed hero, a haunted castle, and a heroine who is in the hero's castle to catalog his egyptian artifact collection.

I really enjoyed the imagination behind the hero's story as well as many of the ancillary characters. However, the overwhelming passion from the very first moment the two main characters meet as well as their helplessness against their own passion is not to my taste. I tend to like romances and erotic stories where the characters feel the passion but their actions are based on some considerations other than their helplessness in the face of their attraction. I also felt that some of the writing at the mechanics level had some repetitious grammar structures that a little more editing would have taken care of.

However, as I said before, I feel that the story with all the well-thought out backstory regarding the hero's curse was very intriguing.
