slim and spare—could definitely have been better but the experience of reading it was compelling & enjoyable.

didn't enjoy this at first - it's an e-mail epistolary and I found the two characters writing voices to be far too similar where I would have wished for diversity in their language to expand my view of them. by the end it got better and the body horror turned disgustingly enjoyable, especially since I read this lying sick in bed.
