The plot is not very deep, which is fine, but there were no secrets hidden from the reader. This made for a gruelingly slow pace, especially towards the end. The conclusion was unnecessarily long, taking almost a hundred pages for the two main characters to reconcile after the 'secret' was discovered.
Though the characters were likeable, the style of writing did not inspire me to pick up another from this author.

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.5/5)
King of Wrath is a steamy, drama-packed romance that delivers exactly what the title promises—power, passion, and a whole lot of intensity. The story follows a billionaire with serious mafia-king energy and the woman who challenges him in all the best (and worst) ways.
This book is full of tension, betrayal, slow-burn sparks, and spicy scenes that romance readers will definitely appreciate. The dynamic between the leads is entertaining and dramatic—sometimes messy, sometimes swoon-worthy, but always intense.
That said, I didn’t totally fall in love with every part of the story. Some of the emotional depth didn’t fully land for me, and the drama could be a bit over the top. Still, I was entertained the whole way through.
If you're into brooding alpha males, morally gray characters, high-stakes romance, and a bit of mafia-inspired glamor, King of Wrath will be right up your alley.
