It’s been awhile since I read Ana’s work but I plowed through this one pretty quickly. Like sliding on well-worn shoes, though not your favorite, just familiar. I will say I’m excited to continue the series but overall this one was pretty low stakes… and was exactly what I needed to get out of a book slump.
This was another great book from Ana! I just came from the Twisted series and was so excited when I realized she had more books. It's even better that this series isn't finished yet! I love the way she ties her whole world together. These characters had a slow burn and resisted their connection a LOT at first but it led to something great!

Ana Huang has another hit with King of Wrath! I’ve been obsessed with Dante since we first met him in Ana’s Twisted series and to have him in a marriage of convenience plot?? Iconic, truly. This books was 5 stars and a great start to her new series!
King of Wrath follows Dante Russo, billionare CEO who is blackmailed into marrying jewelry heiress Vivian. What the 2 didn’t expect (but us as readers obviously did), was that what may have started as a forced business arrangement can become quite complicated when feelings start to get involved. This book had incredible chemistry and banter between Dante and Vivian and Ana Huang really excels in this department with all of her books. I love that it’s still connected some to her Twisted Series and can’t wait for King of Pride to come out soon!!
If you like marriage of convenience, great banter, spice, and an enthralling story, King of Wrath is the book for you. Don’t worry though- Ana Huang’s backlist is there for you after this book hangover and the sequel comes out soon!!
