This one kept me entertained throughout the whole story. Evie
(or Lucca)
is a great storyteller and I like that it keeps switching back from past to present. There's a little romance but it doesn't get in the way of the plot. Overall, it felt new and exciting and I liked the layout of the novel. Characters were great and felt like it kept me guessing!

I actually really liked this book. TikTok had so many mixed reviews and some even said it was confusing? I don’t see that at all, unless you’re truly not paying attention to the ENTIRE plot. I loved the present and past timelines and how it flowed with the story.

I can’t decide how to rate this one and I’m in a good mood so I’ll round up to a 5. It was fun and twisty and it’s been awhile since I’ve read a con artist thriller of this type.
