I enjoyed this from start to finish! Great mystery thriller without the murder tropes so many books lean on.

I feel smart because I actually guessed part of the ending

I wasn’t captivated by the writing or the plot but it was still an overall interesting read.

We love a good novel featuring women in STEM (smuggling, treason, embezzlement, murder). The number of gasps I gusped while reading this is too high to count, and I literally stayed up until 3 AM to finish it. Well-written, funny, and thorough - I’ve heard people complain this book was too hard to keep track of all the characters and aliases, but I thought it was exactly as twisty as it needed to be, and (in going back and rereading the bread crumbs scattered along the way), I felt the ending was earned and well-deserved.

a well written fast paced spy type of thriller that wasn’t scary at all! it ebbed and flowed a bit in the middle but i pushed though to understand that every chapter was playing a part. the ending had me nodding my head in pleasure and enjoyment. i can already see this becoming a movie now.
