I can't gush about this series enough. I just love it! Joe Hill's writing is on point as always and Gabriel Rodriguez has the best artwork. If you haven't checked this series out yet, you need to!

I've read these in such a pounding rush, like sneaking the tube of Pringles and hearing the car pull up outside and just knowing that you should share them but can't stop gobbling.

another mind to add to the list of people I am afraid of but secretly think would get along with, but never want to be trapped in a dark locked room with, and yet could learn all kinds of magical things from.

This was easily the best Locke & Key volume yet. Zack Wells continues his dirtbag quest for the omega key and the Locke children are caught in his orbit. Actually, that brings me to my one gripe about the series so far: The Locke kids feel like guest stars in their own book a lot of the time. Hill and Rodriguez have a great thing going here. I was genuinely scared a couple times in this book, particularly near the end. Good thing I have the next two volumes ready to go.

The rating's partly for the book itself and partly for the continuing strength of the series. After too many recent series that started strong and quickly petered out, this is really refreshing.

Continuing intrigue as well as novel and interesting presentation of some mini adventures keep the books fresh and fun. Pick it up.

Opening this volume with a tribute to Bill Watterson was perfect.

Another great volume in this series! It may have started out a bit slow, but it sure finished in a wild manner! I appreciate Gabriel Rodriguez's artistry more and more with each volume. (Joe Hill is still a genius.)

this one started out on the wrong foot for me because it did a calvin and hobbes tribute thing i was not super into. but then after that it comes back and the ending is real good!!

Lots of keys introduced in this one almost completely as a montage. The plot thickens, a betrayer is discovered and everything changes for one of the Locke children. I am loving this series!
