This is by far my favorite book of the series! I almost didn’t read it because I didn’t love the 2nd book, but I’m so glad I djd. The characters are much more dynamic and the story is romantic and sweet. Loved this one!

devoured this in approximately one sitting it was SO good.
the premise was unique, and the relationship between logan and maddie was so sweet. i loved maddie being an independent woman with a job and interests.
and i looooved grumpy "love is fake" captain logan MacKenzie and also is dishonorable schemes. '
reminded me truly how much i love a marriage of convenience/marriage trope like hello!!! on my knees when the mmc calls the fmc "my wife" ok
so yeah. this was sweet and funny and spicy and everything i could want from historical romance. i am remembering why i have always had a fondness for the genre.
and i think reading this might have gotten me over my dislike for reading mass market paperback sized books

Ugh I loved everything about this book I'm ngl even the drama. The banter, the tension, the jokes, the stubbornness of two people unwilling but destined to fall in love 🥹 beautiful.
