This book was very very mediocre which was so disappointing after being blown away by the silent patient. I found that this book dragged up until like 65% and even the ending was predictable. I didn't care for any of the characters and found them not relatable and like I didn't much care about what happened to them. The most exciting part of this book were the nods to the silent patient.

I’m shocked by the low ratings! Maybe it’s my love for dark academia, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I didn’t see the end coming at all!
