3.5 I thought I would tire of this series by now, but I enjoyed this one. I sometimes wish I hadn't watched the TV series first so there was more surprises, but there are enough to keep it interesting for me.

Brilliant as usual. History is so alive and the story that keep us glued at night is a story that refuses to die.

Uhtred, you made me nervous in this one! One of my favorite things about this series is the humor shared between the characters. The battle scenes are so well written I want to start the next book before I finish the one I'm reading.

Bloody, and bloody interesting.

Buena saga , pero se me pareció en muchas cosas a la trilogia de Arturo.

I was holding this book, and saw a friend on the subway, so I went to say hello. As I walked up to him, he barely looked at me while hurriedly saying, "Sorry, I'm not interested." He only saw the word "Lord" on the book and hadn't recognized me, so he thought I was a Jehovah's Witness.

At this point these books become the copy of each other... Why am I continuing reading it?

Not great literature, but I do love Bernard Cornwell's books, and I enjoy the Saxon Tales even more than the Sharpe novels.
