Darth Vader is one of my favourite characters in Star Wars, so it's enjoyable to see more of him in action. The story fills in some of the gaps between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. I'm not a big comic book fan but still had fun reading this compilation of the first six comics even though they don't combine into a co. Plete story and you need to read on in the series to find out how the story pans out.

The new Star Wars comics are awful darn good. Looking forward to reading the Leia and Lando collections.

The art was a bit of struggle when it came to faces, but overall this was a good story talking about what Vader was up to during a portion of after a New Hope. (plus assassin droids)

It's fun to see Darth Vader getting told off by his Master for the Death Star disaster. It also adds more to the New Hope/Empire Strikes Back stories as the comic slots in nicely between them and also expands on the Vader/Palpatine relationship. I'm looking forward to reading more of the series.

Really solid Star Wars comic storytelling. Fun intro to Doctor Aphra (breakout comic star and well overdue for a live action moment). Vader looks cool and kicks ass. What more do you want?
