Leah’s account of her life and experience in Scientology is something everyone needs to hear/read. She articulates the warning signs of unsafe religious systems and how damaging they are without accountability. Anyone with religious trauma will be able to relate to how she expresses her personal hurt and frustration while bravely calling out this organization for their crimes.

A little self-serving but great explanation of scientology and all the parishioners suffer. She does a good job of making it perfectly clear who she is, both positive and negative, and her strong Bronx personality shines through. I'm glad I got to read it and glad she's taken on the burden of helping open eyes to this cult. More power to her!

Wow, fascinating account

Seek help you are in a cult.

Her stories seem trivial until you process the hypocrisy and manipulation. I will never be a Scientologist. Why? People go broke for enlightenment. Watch the South Park episode about Scientology. After I watched it, I thought “Wow.” If you are too embarrass to share your belief system with other people, you may want to question. Any thought or belief system that removes critical thinking is most likely a cult. If you are not allowed to question, you need to leave.

Leah is extremely brave for writing this book and bringing attention to something she feels so strongly about. Definitely eye opening to the world of Scientology and her life. A very interesting read that leaves me wanting to learn more.

Four stars because I couldn't put it down and wanted to learn more about Scientologies hold on a person. The celebrity stuff was page turning too.

Fascinating. I couldn't put it down.
