Curious Wine was a beautifully poetic love story. I was instantly enamoured with Lane and Diana and wanted nothing more than for them to have a future togehter.

I think this sweet, sensual novel will stay near and dear to my heart.

I really don’t like the beginning of this book. There are like six women all spending the weekend together in a cabin in the mountains in California/Nevada. It’s very difficult to keep up with all of them in the beginning, especially when they really aren’t important to the rest of the story. That being said, I think, once the story started developing between the main two, it was a cute, old-school type romance. It feels a bit dated but no less real. I appreciate how everything happened and the ending was better than I expected. I recommend this book to older queer women (because they would understand some of the references better), and anyone who wants to read a short lesbian romance.

Amazing. Must read if you liked The Price of Salt/Carol.
Very much written in the late 60s, early 70s, and dated by that. But also very much worth a few hours of your time.
