This book is so much better than You Shouldn’t Have Come Here. The characters in this book are much more believable. I almost didn’t read this book after I finished my first Jeneva book, but the aesthetic lured me in. I would have given it five stars if I didn’t guess the killer halfway through.

This was an easy to read thriller. Nothing mind-blowing, but it kept my attention and I flew through it in 3 days.
The book centers around three siblings who find a VHS recording after their mother’s death that shows their parents planning to hide a child’s dead body. None of the siblings are likable. I figured out the main twist about halfway through, but it took the whole book to explain how everything went down.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced thriller, I’d recommend this one.

Kind of glad Onyx Storm came out in the middle of me reading this one because it was a decent mindless thriller that I didn’t have to think too much about.
