I can't get enough of LIS. I'm just unbelievably in love with it and the story just keeps getting better!
Max's inner struggle is heartbreaking but brave. Her determination to follow the flickers and figure out how to protect Chloe is incredibly selfless. Now she's discovering she's not the only one having problems with her abilities nor is she alone.
This new character Tristan is rather emo, but I'm finding myself curious and needing to find out more about him and the reason his and Max's paths cross. Can't wait to devour the next volume.
This story truly is provocative and thoughtful and just gorgeous.

This volume was set two years after the first; I wouldn’t have figured out the time frame if it wasn’t for Rachel mentioning this. That aside, I enjoyed reading this comic. I liked the introduction of the new characters and the re-introduction of previous characters from the first volume. It was sad seeing Max having to keep a part of her and her knowledge closed off. You could tell the internal and external struggles this was causing. Although there isn’t much time jumping in this volume, it was good to still see a magical element in the comic. It will be interesting to see where it takes in the next one. Of course, the ending of ‘This Action Will Have Consequences’ makes me want to pick up the next one immediately.
