Ruby Dixon knows how to write a sci-fi novel that will draw a romance girl in. Each new couple and culture she introduces is intriguing. I didn’t know what to think going into book one and here I am however many books later. The novellas are as good as the full novels as well.

mf - sci fi (alien x human) - mail order bride - low steam - pov: first dual - child free - forced proximity - grumpy x sunshine - military - only one bed - opposites attract - roommates to lovers - virgin FMC - hea >!slice of life!<. A much sweeter read than any other Ruby Dixon I’ve read so far, probably could have been a bit longer. I would have loved to see the FMC contribute more to the relationship.

Tonight, this house doesn’t feel like just a place to sleep. It feels like a home. It’s a good feeling, and I know she’s responsible for it.
I genuinely enjoyed this book but it was not memorable. I can not with a straight face tell you what this book was about, and I read it less than a week ago.
