first volume was good! slightly different timeline than the anime, so it’s keeping me on my toes. i’m enjoying seeing how it’s different and also appreciating all of the art. i’m looking forward to seeing if there’s any big differences between the manga and the anime!

Very interesting concept which i’m enjoying I just wasn’t as immersed in the story as I wish I had been but i’ll definitely continue because i’m curious as to where it will go.

(5) (These are my thoughts on the manga as a whole) OH MY GOD. I AM IN SHAMBLES. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I CRIED SO HARD AT ANY PIECE OF MEDIA.
Man, I knew exactly what happened in the end and it still was a punch to the face. I want to reread eventually but I have very little faith that I will have the emotional stability to survive it.

I have to say I wouldn't have read this manga if I hadn't seen the anime first. The art and story pacing aren't all that great in my opinion. It's rare that an adaption is better than the original, but I think that might be the case here.
