Charming and sweet enough, but missing the energy of the show and other Adventure Time comics. This is due in part to a different art style, particularly the lack of colour, but also because of Corsetto's writing, which just isn't as snappy, bouncy, or random as AT usually is. A good-enough read, but not really stellar.

Finn and Jake take Finn's girlfriend Flame Princess to Carnival Kingdom for the first time, but things go a little wonky when FP gets her fortune told. Instead of always being the hero, this time Finn needs rescuing!

This was a cute, short story with a few pages of BMO cuteness at the end. Not as fun a story as some of the others. I'm not sure if it's a thing with this set of graphic novels but it's in black and white (all the others I've read were colour). Even so, there was enough depth of shading and I know Adventure Time well enough now to be able to enjoy it just fine.

Definitely had a different feel from the Ryan North adventure time comics, but I still like it a lot. Essentially the main character was Flame Princess, whom I love (and relate to). Also there were no secret codes or footnotes wah wah wah.

An excellent story from the Adventure Time universe--Flame Princess is amazing. Really an interesting character, struggling with her temper/evil side.

While I think this is a pretty accurate representation of the characters (their movements, moods, etc.) and the story line was cute, fun and easy to read through fast, I was a little disappointed that this comic is entirely in black and white as opposed to the other comics which are all in color.

I realize that might have been the illustrator's choice and that is fine, but I guess I got a little spoiled and really expected full color like the other comics.

I will say that I really didn't mind the black and white once I got into the story and that the illustrator did a fantastic job capturing the moods and actions of the Adventure Time cast. I especially loved the bit at the end with BMO. A comic with no words, but still that said quite a lot about BMOs character. It was cute, as well.

I purchased this for my library's Juvenile Graphic Novel collection, based partly on my appreciation for the TV show and partly from seeing good reviews. It just came in, I finally read it, and I have to say, I loved it. It was sweet, fun, and authentic to the characters while not getting quite so bizarre I'd be unable to justify it being in my collection; it's very child-friendly.

I was a little disappointed that the art was lacking it’s typical vibrant colors, but I thought the story was pretty good. I am not a huge fan of Flame Princess, but this story made me come to understand her a little better. There’s also a little story at the end with BMO that is adorable.

Cute, but it didn't seem up to the usual standards of the Adventure Time graphic novels.
