This was a really enjoyable, and thoroughly entertaining story. That quickly drew me in and kept me engaged until the very end. It was also a very quick and easy read, with little in the way of angst and the sexual chemistry between these two main characters was smoking hot! Which did lead to some very hot scenes, more than I was honestly expecting including a threesome, which I actually found quite sensual in its descriptions.
As for the two lead characters Roman and Addie, they were both really lovable. Addie was very sassy and I loved the way she described herself from the start and how she first went after Roman, and as for Roman. I just adored him and I thought they worked really well together as a couple. Also the development of their relationship was paced well within the story.
I also found having not read the first book in this series. That it didn't make any difference and I honestly never felt like I was missing out. So it can easily be read as a standalone. However after enjoying this one so much. I will definitely be checking out the first book in the series and would happily recommend Ruthless to others. Especially if your in the mood for a quick and steamy read.

So good and lived up to the ruthless name!!
This book was a great follow up to the first playboys in love book.. and it lived up to the Ruthless title! Roman was ruthless in all things, whether it be sex, court or stripping he owned everything he did.
From the little taste of this book I got I was hooked and I devoured it in less than a day wanting, no needing to know what was happening to my newest favorite couple!

Hello hot, entertaining fun! I loved this! Addison and Roman were awesome and I loved them coming together, they're animosity, and heated adventures. It was really exciting to read and I couldn't stop smiling.
From the beginning I was all in and loved the push and pull between Addison and Roman. I loved their playful fight and how challenging they both could be. I loved watching them grow together and become closer as things played out. I enjoyed their vulnerable moments and openness as well. These two together where smoking HOT! I mean holy wow Batman! I think I saw flames! And yes, the sex was pretty spectacular but it was more than that. It was just two people working it out the best they could and falling in love.
Roman seemed to be a complicated man with two sides but I got him and how he portrayed himself. He's super sexy and commanding and actually very sweet, super swoon worthy. I loved Addie and her tough as nails honey badger self. I love that she wouldn't let anyone walk all over her. It made for a lot of tension and a killer ending (in an awesome way).
This was sexy and fun with just the right mix of emotions and playfulness mixed in. It's a light read for the most part but really well written with just the right amount of depth and character development. It’s told from first person dual POV and I thought it had a great flow and timing. I really liked the timeline and how everything was not instant and there was a real, growing relationship happening.
If you need some sexy time entertainment with likable characters and a story that will leave you with a smile on your face, then your going to love this!

I honestly don't remember purchasing this book but I was scrolling through my kindle and it caught my eye (like hello, look at that cover how could it not?!) so I decided to open it and told myself that I'd only read a few chapters (why I continue to lie to myself I honestly don't know). I was hooked on Roman and Addison before I even realized what was happening. Their dynamic had me on edge, I wanted to smack Roman so many times (not going to lie) and I wanted to sit down and give Addison a firm talking to but I let them do their thing and....damn. The emotions, the chemistry, everything about this book had me reading it until the very end. This is not your typical romance, this is not your typical love story but it's one of my favourite love stories.
Warning: there is a lot of sex and some of the scenes may make people uncomfortable so if you aren't into reading about kinky pass times, this may not be the book for you.

Oh my God! This book was seriously off the charts in terms of hotness!! Sweet baby Jesus and all the angels above, Roman "Ruthless" Reeves was an alpha personified. Add in some MFM action and I was done for. The second installment of the Playboys in Love series was definitely worth the wait. Ms Maxwell once again managed to hook me in the first chapter. Loved her heroine, Addison Paige. She was strong, sassy and feisty. She was the perfect match for Roman and their relationship development was beyond awesome. Even the ending was perfect. You will not be disappointed with this book!
