One of the driving factors that encouraged me to read Paper Girls is Brian K. Vaughn. The man writes Saga and wrote my all time fav comic, Y The Last Man, and that alone was enough to spur me. Paper Girls follow four teenagers who work their neighbourhood paper route. They stumble upon something sinister and little did they know that their whole world was about to come crashing down. It's set in the 80's and has an interesting story line. I think in this case it's me and not the book. I didn't enjoy the visuals, I dislike comics set in the past and the story line, although interesting, lost its pizzaz by the end.

Would recommend for folks who liked Stranger Things.

Absolutely perfect! The artwork is amazing, there's a gloomy 80's vibe, a fast-paced story, smart and funny characters. Can't wait to read the following volumes!
