This book was emotional, challenging and insightful. What an incredible leader and a truly kind person.

While I may not have agreed with every decision made while she was the prime minister of NZ, I can respect that fact that she had a such a terrible string of events happen while she was in office and I don't believe anyone would have handled it as well as she did. I (and this is my own personal opinion, you don't have to agree) do believe she cared deeply for our country and did her absolute best in the crazy circumstances she found herself in.

Mad respect for this women and I'm sad we lost a PM that actually gave a shit.

Shoutout to Dylan Mulvaney for recommending this book for her book club <3
I really enjoyed this book, especially the discussions of her internal conflict between her faith and her values. I also loved getting a peek into the inner workings of the New Zealand government as someone who knew very little about the country prior to reading!
