Listened to this on audio and it’s read by Jacinda herself which made it extra comforting to experience! I really enjoyed this a lot more than I expected - especially her reflections on motherhood and politics and the impossibility of doing both.

This was a great memoir! Jacinda Ardern’s kindness and empathy come through big time in this book. Her leadership reflected that too. I had tears in my eyes several times while reading this because it felt so powerful for a politician to describe such real human emotions. It was kinda devastating to feel her losing steam as she describes the increased division and hatred in the world post-COVID. It feels like we need people like her in leadership more than ever. I think we’re lucky to have this example of a politician in the world.
