Inspiring narrative of a different way of doing politics, despite inherent contradictions (for instance one chapter talks about free trade agreement in a paragraph then climate change in another) and some hints of corporate feminism (leadership initiatives, kindnessTM - which ring empty and fail to address structural inequalities), which is not a critique of Ardern herself, but a testament to the difficulty of implementing change from within a neoliberal system.

Nevertheless enlightening window into contemporary NZ politics, which helps me contextualise recent developments I witnessed in Aotearoa and at Otago (I didn’t realize how close she and Grant were!)
