This wasn’t my favorite of Loretta Anne White’s books, but it was still good. The audible narration wasn’t bad. The storyline was good.

I stumbled across this one by accident and it turned out to be a terrific read. The plot is really well planned. An excellent page turner.

I stopped and started this book a few times, but finally got through it. Bit of a slow start then the story took off.
And that ending!? I was going to give the book 2 stars when I first read it. I was made. Thank goodness it got better

Trigger Warning! Sexual assault **

Book had decent twists and turns. Found the romance side of things a little predictable

So wild! My heart was pounding for the last 50 pages. I don’t know how Loreth Anne White does it- her endings are always incredible and almost always catch me off guard. I’ve yet to read one of her books that doesn’t take me for a ride, and I love it.

4.25 stars rounded down. Maybe I'm still on a Dark Lure hangover but this book didn't pull me in the same way others have. However, there was definitely a turning point when things really picked up and made the remainder easier to devour.
