Beautiful story of love and acceptance.
Miguel is a bike loving tattooist with injuries and scars after surviving a house fire in his teen years.
Amit is a femme Deaf bartender who returned home from college to help his mother and sisters after the death of his father. He’s out to friends but not his family so he’s not living the true, authentic life he wants.
This is another wonderfully written book by EM Lindsey about acceptance, family and chosen family. She once again proves her excellence by writing about a persons physical and mental abilities in her usual caring, sensitive manner.
Miguel’s and Amit’s story captured my heart from the start, it flowed along perfectly and I read it in one sitting. They are both complex characters with complex lives and are so easy to love. Their chemistry together is explosive so the heat level is high. After a few bumps along the way, they get their HEA.
Characters from previous books in the series play a major part offering advice and support but this can be read as a stand-alone although I highly recommend the whole series.
