This is the first Christian romance where it’s not set in like the 1800s or something incredibly cringe lol and I appreciate that. I was obsessed with this story bc it’s a book i needed to be in my life. I really enjoyed the characters although the back and forth got annoyed sometimes, but I
do get that it was necessary at the end of the day. Also, Amory…. I LOVE HIM. I literally want the best for him bc NOTHING is going this man’s way like I can’t even be mad for the way this book ended bc he’s just trying to do what he felt needed to be done. Rosa if you don’t get ya act together (I love her) I will hop into this book fr. I love how real she was with her faith. If every Christian romance could be as entertaining and tasteful as this one… I would read them more often😭.

This book is so strange. It was like watching a train crash in slow motion, and I absolutely could not look away. I will continue the series despite my very mixed feelings about the book.
