The best book of the trilogy and a fitting end to an amazing series! The way Chakraborty narrates political alliances, betrayals and the descent of characters into tyranny is masterful!
I absolutely loved Nahri and Ali's friendship and how it develops in this book. Definitely my favourite part of the book - they were always so wholesome together.
I'm actually sad I've finished it, so that says a lot about how much I loved the series.

For a book whose plot hinges on romance, its very chaste. Satisfying conclusion to the trilogy

The perfect ending to this incredible epic tale. I loved it all, literally everything.
All the characters arcs complete and in such satisfying ways. And not to mention even the marid and shaffit got their dues. I was so surprised by Dara's ending and the alternate epilogue gave me such joy.

I absolutely loved this entire trilogy and I wish there more to continue to be lost in this intricate beautiful world.

A fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series drenched in mythology and history that is rich and illustrious (and deserves more attention) driven by an intricate plot and a cast of characters that you alternate between wanting to protect and wanting to strangle.
Also, Zaynab fully deserves her own perspective/adventure.
