A strange book written as if the two protagonists wrote their story down after the fact. Written in two points of view. I feel a bit ambivalent about it. And the characters where a bit odd.

What a refreshing book. I love this author's work. Such wonderful Aussie humour, mixed with some serious topics. Loved this book. I will read more from this author. Will be on my re read list for sure.

This was so much fun! The characters were very unique and endearing. If you're trying a Renae Kaye for the first time, let this be your first experience.

I definitely enjoy my comedy! ;)

Lots of laugh out louds but also some tears. I like Shawn and Harley!

I like how the story was told, both POVs and in sort of a flashback way.

This was a good book overall, but I wasn't fully enamored with it. It had funny parts and I chuckled a bit, but it didn't fully captivate me like I was hoping.

For better or for worse, I can count on being utterly charmed by every one of Renae Kaye's characters. Though this one is not a particular favourite, I still enjoyed it.
