Ahh, the father-son battle with Fushiguro not realizing… painful. Also my boy better be okay or I’m rioting. This arc has been so ridiculously upsetting but every time I panic I think about how Gojo is literally just chilling in the cube and laugh a little bit.

Sukuna’s awake and I’m waiting for Itadori to gain consciousness again and halt the antics. Sukuna really has an energy of not giving a shit about anything or anyone other than himself and it’s a vibe… for a villain. I see why some people really like him for that calm confidence.

Beware of the SPOILERS in the review!

Well, this is what you call a great volume. There are so many great moments in it. The fight with Dagon, Toji, Jogo and of course my man Sukuna coming back to wreak havoc.

Let’s start with Dagon because I kinda felt bad for him. This curse was just trying to accomplish his goals which would allow him to live a peaceful life and then the sorcerers came and ruined it. But honestly, the biggest issue is the fact that Naobito doesn’t even acknowledge his name. Look, I’m not the biggest fan of Dagon but I hate Naobito more for some reason. He’s just this big asshole who thinks he is better than everyone just because he’s an old Zenin dude (we’re not gonna talk about how he progressively makes Maki and Mai’s life a living hell. What I did like about this fight though, was Megumi opening his domain inside Dagon’s domain and then Toji coming to mix some shit up.

Speaking of Toji, I just want to mention how this man literally fights the strongest opponent available and out of everyone he picks Megumi when Dagon is finished. Not Naobito, not Nanamin. Megumi. And then when he recognizes him during the fight and asks for his name. Chef’s kiss. He actually does care about the boy even if he is afraid to admit it. Deep down, he is not a complete and utter failure of a father. Of course we also get Naobito’s death scene and Nanamin and Maki getting burnt by Jogo. None of them are confirmed to be dead yet so shut up.

And the best for last: Sukuna. This man… I am obsessed with the way he looks down on everyone and his fight with Jogo just proves that. And even before that… he casually cuts off Jogo’s arm and a part of his head, kills both girls one after the other after they tell him, the king of curses, what to do and then tells Jogo he’ll consider his suggestion if he manages to land a hit on him. But then the fight… One of my favorite scenes in JJK so far is definitely Sukuna telling all humans to stay still until he says so and everyone is so scared to move in though they are in mortal danger either way. And the funny thing is that Panda isn’t a human so technically he could’ve just ran but he is so scared that he doesn’t until Sukuna lets them.

Overall, an amazing volume and I can’t believe that Shibuya is coming to an end. Well, there are still a couple of volumes but I can read that in a day so basically, it’ll soon be over. 5 stars for this one. My man Sukuna deserves it.
