I am having so much fun reading these books. I think I saw one review that the end was a little slow, but I think that's why I liked it.

I think I have "action fatigue" or something. EVERYTHING follows the same pattern. And I know it's how storytelling is supposed to go. Build to the climax and then calm down to the resolution. But every story (and movie) has SO MUCH CLIMAX AND IT NEEDS TO KEEP GOING AND HAVE A TWIST AND MORE ACTION.

It's just not for me because it's the same thing every time. This! I love this! Yes there was action at the climax but it didn't go on forever and drain me. It had a longer calm ending that was just...I don't know..."Nice Story."

I like stories. Not "all the fights" for the only climax. This has a main character who deals with a larger world and she's a great character.

This is a long review just to say that I like her writing. And I like these books. They're definitely for me and I will read the next one.

That's all. If you like quieter, thoughtful, fun stuff, these are good books.

I liked this book it was pretty good!

actually a very good sequel to Dragon Slippers! A very satisfyingly sweet and yet also adventurous story with just the right touch of romance.

Somehow better than the last one.  Creel as a cultural ambassador deserves its own spin off, though I did feel sorry for Isla.  Poor girl deserves so much respect for putting up with this

A great sequel that lived up to the first book. The twists were less obvious in this one and it was a great read.

Once again, the characters are delightful and the story was entertaining and sweet. Can’t wait to read the final book!

awesome. i loved it. 5 stars because i loved it. i love dragons. did my eye twitch a couple times because it was goofy? of course but that doesn’t mean i didn’t like it.

I did like the first one more, but it was an enjoyable read and it was fun to revisit these characters. I don't know if it was because this plot felt similar to the first book, but the pacing dragged for me a bit. I did love the sweet ending.
