I don’t know what to make of this - I was captivated from the beginning and kept at the edge of my seat, waiting for the mystery to unravel.  It never did.  It concluded just as it began, leaving me with so many questions.  Great writing and good pacing.  Endearingly weird and vague

This novella is about a strange woman called Lise. A very fast, enjoyable read where it had me guessing the entire time if actions of the story are done to or by Lise. Great writing, fascinating characters and interactions. Definitely recommend, and I'm excited to read it again and see what I missed the first time.

This book was written really well, there is so much to discuss, but where to start? The question of ‘will’ is large in this novel, the sanity, the perspective, society at large. Lise as a character is complex, we don’t know her inner thoughts in depth, especially in the last chapter and so to an extent it’s open to interpretation - who is in control and who is in the drivers seat?
