No idea why this book is rated so low. A frightening and razor sharp character study. Like watching a top spin out of control and lose balance. And still manages to be funny!

Missed the book club discussion for this book but I would love to hear what others thought of this short book. It was oddly funny but at the same time it was creepy and tense....Spark's talent is apparent throughout the whole story. I will definitely be checking out more by her, this book was small but packed a punch.
