Agatha Christie queen of the side quests. Every character has something compelling going on/hiding something. Pulling at those threads is a joy. Did not see the end coming at all. Getting in to it felt a little slow to me but once I was in -- I was innnnn

Now I read this knowing who did it so my experience was perhaps not everyone's but this is possibly the finest murder mystery I have ever read. Despite knowing what happened, seeing it all lain out and how she constructed the story was so impressive and extremely rewarding.
