If I had a nickel for every time Katee Robert has written an incredibly sexy Hades romance, I'd have two nickels—which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Truly, Neon Gods is so, so good. The emotional growth, the tenderness of this relationship, the careful ways the put boundaries and safeguards in place to create a better power balance between Hades and Persephone. The drama, the danger, the sexiness, the family problems. The dogs! I'll be reading this one again and again.

Oh lawd they was fucking this whole book. I can't decide if I liked it or not, so I gave it 2 stars.

I liked some parts but to be honest most of the novel just kinda reads like fanfic so it's a little hard to get a handle on.

This book was really good, I loved all the characters everyone played their part beautifully. The main thing that had me cringing was when she described the characters skin color. I like to imagine how the characters look when they describe them smoothly making the description blend into the book being vague but not too vague. But overall this book was very good, can’t wait to get the next one.
