This book is a lot, but it ISN’T explanatory. Why are there ‘new’ Greek gods that just… take the names. If Persephone married Zeus and became Hera, would the name Persephone not exist anymore? Is Persephone just her name because she is Demeter’s daughter? In the lore, Persephone is Demeter’s daughter. So did she have a different name before her mother became Demeter x years ago?
Even more, WHY is this set in present day? Hades should not be hopping on a zoom call with Greek gods. What is going on.
