Another Persephone and Hades retelling in a spicy package.
This was , couple-wise, cute fluff with a bit of kink in there. Nothing actively offended me , but the spicy scenes were also a bit too quick and non-descriptive that the somewhat flat story didn‘t draw me in all that much. Overall, the book just left me a little bored after a strong start? Not sure if I‘ll read something else of the author, though right now I wouldn’t readily recommend it to anyone.

Maybe it's just not the tone or vibe I'm looking for right now, but this is not working. The overall idea of people "inheriting" a god's persona or essence or whatever is interesting, but this particular plot feels soooo ridiculous. And just.... silly? Girl runs from likely murderous fiancé to become... arranged "sex captive" by the (of course) handsome, brooding "villain" ? Um... sure. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime, but just not for me right now.
probably not that bad if you read it for smut. but too insta-lovey and too much sex. and hades is nice and sweet??? i prefer a darker version lol.
