I definitely enjoyed this book more than the previous ones. It added a lot more character depth and had a good story line, even though I don’t remember the first half of the book as I read it ages due to exams. I felt like when Clary was with Jace and Sebastian that it dragged on a bit and felt it could have been a lot shorter, nevertheless I loved Clary’s attitude and confidence in this book. I felt soo bad for Jace being tied to Sebastian, I wish he could just be happy for once. I hated that Magnus and Alec broke up, even though Alec did have some issues I felt it could have been overcome. Sebastian was a raging psychopath. I hate him with a passion. Simon, again, had great character development and I really want him and Izzy to get together. The ending was strange with Jace and the heavenly fire and I’m really curious to see what happens with it in the last book.
