This was even better than its predecessor! The action sequences were epic, the artwork very appealing to my personal taste and the characters were once again on point. The overall plot was phenomenal, a unique piece of art. It makes me wonder how the same man that gave me this also gave me the mess that was the Age of Ultron movie.

One thing I particularly enjoyed was how we got to see that Charles is in no way perfect, how his decisions may sometimes not line up with what he preaches, how he may even be inconsiderate towards his former students. It is nice to finally see him acknowledged as a morally grey character, as opposed to this "perfect" image we've so far seen in the X-men movies, an image many fans have ended up believing true.

Not quite as good as Volume 1-- has the same great writing (of course, thanks Joss), but the overall story starts to get pretty weird. Some fairly interesting philosophical questions, though, if you care for that sort of thing.

I really liked this book, loved Danger Room becoming sentient and seeing Professor X actually fight. Now I'm really excited to see Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club in the next volume.

Figured out I can read these on tablet mode vertically on my computer and the size is great.

I really need to figure out who Emma Frost is/was. And also what the backstory about the 16 million dead mutants is.

Hey! It's Age of Ultron/"I Robot, You Jane" (Buffy) for the X-Men! Good to know Joss Whedon never runs out of ideas. Honestly, I'm so tired of him recycling these ideas and calling it "new." The only good bit was Wing's story and the mystery behind Emma. Other than that, the X-Men just haven't interested me at all in this series.
