This brief, colorful introduction to the Gifts of the Spirit would make a nice Confirmation gift. The prayers alone are absolutely fantastic. I just always find it difficult when an essay (or homily) is deconstructed into small sound bytes. IF the Gifts of the Spirit were previously taught and developed in class, then this book would be a nice reinforcement. If not, I feel that young adults would have a nice prayer book while the actual words on the Gifts would be forgotten.
