A great insight into one of the legends of stage, screen and music. This book is filled with many stories of how we came to love the work of Barbra Streisand.
A length book, which I ended up reading and listening to via an audiobook. However there are many stories from her past present and what she would like to see for the future.
A great read for a fan of Streisand’s work.

Obviously I knew of Barbra but boy did I only knew the smallest amount. I guess when you’re so used to seeing someone playing a role at a certain age, you just remember them at that age forever. That’s Barbra in Hello Dolly for me. I honestly had no idea that Barbra had accomplished so much more outside of the musical theater world. So many records, so many movies. Plus she is very vocal and advocates for many different causes from the environment to women’s health to equality, you name it. This took me foreverrr to get through, even listening at 1.75x speed on audio (48+ hours?!). There was just so much. But overall I really enjoyed hearing Barbra’s side of things and about all the many experiences in her life.
