Sad, since I’ve been so excited for Riley Sager’s next release. It’s not his usual style, and that was part of the downfall. The locked room/train you can’t get off felt all too familiar, and didn’t do anything that hasn’t been done before. I wanted a thriller with twists and turns, and while this had some, I mostly just got whiplash. Not in a good way. I was also mostly uninterested for the majority of this book. Maybe the next one will be better.

I loooove a closed-door mystery and this one did not disappoint. It's chock-full of twists - maybe a bit too full... There was a lot of coincidences, but I was just along for the ride on this crazy train. It's not my favourite Riley Sager, but it definitely wasn't the worst. Pretty fun! (You know, apart from those people that died...)
