I adore everything Kennedy Ryan writes, so I was especially pleased to read this extension to the Hoops series. I can't decide on a favorite between the two novellas. I have wanted to read Avery and Deck's story for so long. They are so fabulous, and seeing their origins was amazing.
And then to read Quinn's story. She has always inspired me, so getting to know her better was powerful. As is always the case with Kennedy Ryan's writing, I laughed, I cried, and I want more.
And the timelines through both included references to things we see in other books in the series, especially Long Shot. US there are appearances by August and Banner. These novellas are must reads.

I realized I'd already read Avery's story when reading Hoops Holiday so this review is for Ean and Quinn's story only.
The smut was jaw dropping! What??? These two were wild. I've loved Quinn since she got introduced in the Hoops story, and I was happy she got her happily ever after. Also, Banner made a cameo!!! I just wish this was longer.
Fast break deserved to be longer, better developed and slower paced. It was good, but it had the potential to be so much more!

Cute extension of the Hoops universe! Avery and Mack were especially fun
