This book opened pretty good - Daredevil broken and struggling. But the rest of the book went downhill from there. The chase of the 10" man was particularly unmemorable. The bit with Misty Knight had some potential but it was not fulfilled. Writing and art overall was okay.

EEEEE!!! Ever since I watched the netflix series of daredevil I was in love with matt murdock. I had no idea what his power was before I watched the show and read the comic. I didn't know he was blind! Daredevil: Dark Nights was a pretty decent read, not the best out there, but still a okay.

The thing to keep in mind about this volume is that there are three different story arcs, and they differ drastically. The first reads much like you expect a Daredevil comic to -- there is the perpetual guilt, the bravery, and all of the things one loves about Daredevil. The second is a little ridiculous, but still very fun to read. The third has a strong plotline but tends to be a little out of character, specifically for Matt Murdock. Overall a pretty entertaining read.

Bought this for the first story in the collection, about Daredevil trying to make sure a heart gets delivered for a girl who needs a transplant in the middle of a snowstorm. It didn’t disappoint at all, especially Lee Weeks’ wonderful art. But also, more stories about superheroes just trying to do good things?
