Probably my least favourite book in the series so far, most likely due to the lack of personal stakes for Flynn that make the other adventures more gripping. I also kinda felt like the white supremacy aspect was a bit superficial and could’ve been explored deeper, but it was an interesting plot point.

Wow wow wow! I really enjoy how Cavanagh brings you into the story. Each characters chapter leaves you on the edge of your seat. I’ve read 3 of his books and this one was AMAZING! I found myself feeling like one of the people on the jury. This story is packed with emotions of all kinds.

I love Steve Cavanagh but this one wasn’t my favourite. I think I missed the point at the beginning and I assumed I knew what was going on but half way through I realised I didn’t know who all the characters were and I’d made some wrong decisions. So it’s probably my own fault - I’d 100% recommend Steve Cavanagh but I’d probably start with something else!

I had a sneaky feeling this book would deteriorate towards the end.

I was totally wrong.

The author is a master in characterisation development - this skill is more than matched by the intricate and interesting plot as always. First class!!

I’m definitely going to re-read this. I was so entranced I spent the whole day reading it, and was not disappointed. I guess the extra couple of pounds was worth it for the hardback, because i’m definitely going to wear it down.
