This one was more confusing with several different plot lines... Too much to keep track of. I do like Ellie though so I keep reading to continue her story

A bit slower to get started than the first two but still enjoyable.

First book I've read by Alafair Burke. I think she may me a better writer than her dad (James Lee Burke). She certainly writes a great mystery! The is the first book I've read in this series, but I'll be going back for more! Ellie Hatcher is a great character!

Decent mystery for my tired brain. This will be the year of the 3 star read!

I wish I could give 1/2 stars, because I'm probably more in the 3.5 range. But it was good, and enjoyable, and made me want to read more of the series. One and a half thumbs up!

Whoosh! A rollercoaster ride as all good suspense mysteries should be. Ellie Hatcher is a driven detective with NYPD. She is making a go of being a female detective as well as a dweller of NYC after growing up in Kansas.
She catches the murder of a bodyguard of one of the wealthiest men in New York. Then more murders begin to follow and it looks like the work of a serial killer, but to what pattern?
Highly excellent, glad B&N had a fab Nook deal for this 3rd entry in the series. Off to get more.
