Really love the whole "I'm trying my best to be an adult" theme of many parts of this series.
But the scene where Persephone finally tells her secret to Eros, who then so gently tells her that what Apollo did wasn't something she misunderstood or misread or wasn't good at, but that he raped her and she's allowed to feel upset and wrong and not want him around or whatever she decides to do about it. There's also a really interesting push-pull going on in this world where everything is so lush and sensual but then there's an undercurrent of worshipping "purity" (See: Demeter's eliding of Persephone's burgeoning powers as a fertility goddess and pushing her hard toward the Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood/keeping her deliberately "innocent" about consent, etc.)

Such a beautiful read. Truly a wonderful addition to my collection. Still contains the same triggers as the other books but once again has the trigger warning page at the begging:) very beautiful can’t wait for the next book to come out
