I feel like this series is getting better and better.
Quarter Miles was a quick read for me just like the previous books in the series. Maybe a little too quick. But the story was smooth and very enjoyable. Kat and Cash’s story brought to this series a little bit of drama. So for me, it was more exciting. For a minute there I was afraid that there won't be a happy ending for this couple!

I'm a sucker for a friends-to-lovers romance, and this one did not disappoint. The more I read this series the more I fall in love with it. I loved the friendship between Katherine and Cash. This is also a cute and fun but emotional story. I also love how Devney sets up the next book in the series with future characters. When Cash finally realizes his romantic feelings for Kat I was so happy. I'm very excited to see how Aria's book plays out next!

Y'all I found a new comfort author and its all thanks to bookstagram. Devney perry is a bookstagram favorite author and I totally love her books!
I had read her Jamison valley series last year and enjoyed it but never written a review and purchased runaway series last year itself and I should have read it sooner.

This is such a unique series with so much depth and emotions. Each book is like being wrapped in cosy blanket. I devoured each book so fast. If you like fast paced, short, emotional contemporary romance books this one is the best I've read in recent times.

Book 3 :- Quater Miles
• friends to lovers
• Roomates
• forced proximity

Book is about five runaway teenagers who survived togather in a Junkyard by supporting eachother. The series starts off with a road trip in a Cadillac in search of long lost friends which eventually leads them to the love and home they all searched for all their lives. Such a unique series about survival, friendship, love and famy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it! Would recommend, almost perfect and likely would reread.

Katherine Gates has harbored a deep affection for Cash Greer since he saved her from a runaway goat, though he sees her as a cherished friend. Despite her efforts to suppress her feelings, the denial weighs heavily on her heart as the years pass. When Katherine impulsively decides to take a road trip to the Oregon coast, Cash unexpectedly joins her. As they travel together, the facade of friendship begins to crumble, leading to a moment of vulnerability where Katherine confesses her love. However, this revelation uncovers Cash's hidden secrets, which could either solidify their bond or drive them apart.

These are just super addictive fast reads that are major warm hugs. AND YES I have said that every single time but like it's true. I love a friends to lovers but why are the men always so stupid and never realise their feelings. Cash I could have smacked you in the face because you were so blind.

Tropes: small town, road trip, roommates to lovers, unrequited love
Triggers: childhood neglect, homelessness, parental abuse, drugs
